About the Role :
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Junior Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about building high-quality web applications and eager to learn and grow with our company. You will be heavily involved in developing applications using React and transitioning to React Native. Additionally, you will gain exposure to a variety of other technologies, providing a rich environment for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain front-end applications primarily using React and React Query.
- Work on integrating and developing map functionalities with MapBox GL.
- Participate in the transition of projects from React to React Native.
- Collaborate with the development team in coding, troubleshooting, and offering innovative solutions.
- Learn and contribute to projects involving Python, Flutter, MySQL, and various AWS services (Cognito, Lambda, API Gateway).
- Ensure high performance on mobile and desktop environments.
- Write tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Communicate with external web services as required.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Familiarity with React and React Query.
- Basic understanding of React Native is a plus.
- Eager to learn and work with technologies such as Python, Flutter, MySQL, AWS Cognito, AWS Lambda, and AWS API Gateway.
- Understanding of fundamental front-end languages such as HTML5 and CSS3.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
